Haig's Dimple De Luxe Blended Scotch Whisky - 1970s
Incredibly rare blended whisky from one of Scotland's oldest brands made in the 1970s.
Dimple whisky was first blended in 1893, it was created as part of the boom in demand for blended whisky. Desire for Single Malt whisky was low after a few unscrupulous distillers of the time had released less than perfect spirits. In contrast well blended whisky was becoming increasingly popular for its ease of drinking.
Unsurprisingly Dimple (or Dimple Haig or Dimple pinch as it was also know,) was named for its highly distinctive bottle shape.
This is a collectible piece but is also drinkable.
Please see images. Note wear to the labels due to it's age, but remarkably the top label is still intact (though very delicate), it's never been opened!
